Ellen Zimmerman is a highly esteemed mental health professional with an illustrious career spanning over 35 years in various mental and behavioral health settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and is both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 25 years of licensure and a National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC). Ellen’s extensive experience encompasses work in county agencies, school districts, colleges, and private practice environments, highlighting her versatility and depth of expertise.
Throughout her career, Ellen has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in crisis intervention, personal counseling, and custody evaluations. She has spent over six years as a high school counselor and eight years in higher education, where she developed and implemented comprehensive mental health services and support systems. Her broad experience includes working with families, youth, adults, couples, and veterans, making her a compassionate and effective practitioner.
